Welcome to PFA Bangalore
People For Animals- Bangalore (PFA), is a non-profit conservation organisation working
on the rescue and rehabilitation of urban wildlife. People for Animals, Bangalore
was launched in 1996, by Namrata Dugar, Alpana Bhartia, Gauri Maini and Arushi Poddar,
who were the pioneers. The last ten years saw the setting up of an animal hospice
in Kengeri, with clinical and recuperative facilities for wounded, sick and displaced
mammals, reptiles and avians. To date, four thousand mammals, avians and reptiles
have been treated back to health in the hospice, and rehabilitated back to their
natural habitats.

Slender Loris rescued
A slender Loris was rescued by People for Animals (Pfa) Volunteers,
Bharath and Jayanna at Bhasveshnagar last evening.
Displaced Little Egret chicks from Indranagar. The younger of the two was in shock
on admission and the extreme step of fluid replacement via sub-cutaneous injections
was resorted to in an attempt to recover the bird.
